Jared grew up with a passion for music since he was young, participating in bands and choirs. He came to know Christ as a freshman in High School when he was invited to a youth worship service by a friend. From there, at a worship music conference in Nashville Tennesse he heard the call of music God had on his life.

A little later, Jared started to fall away from his relationship with God and started to live a life which surrounded itself with things that the world has to offer, things that were not of God. He was playing music for the sake of music and lost sight of the calling on his life. But on a visit to see his girlfriend (now wife) Alisha, they attended a worship service at Resurrection Life Church in Grandville, MI and both Jared and Alisha had God encounters and rededicated their lives to Christ.

Now they both serve in the music ministry living out the callings God has on their lives. Jared has a passion to see a community of believers sold out to worship Christ, not just through song, but in every aspect of life. He wants to see God's people living radically and boldly for the Kingdom, and ready to move forward in their calls and giftings. Jared knows that God has brought him and Alisha, as well as their two beautiful children, to Resurrection Life to see a community healed and set free by the power of God's love.
