Pastor John Prominski
Senior Pastor

Growing up in a religious home, John was around faith, but not personally involved in it. For twenty years, life consisted of doing pretty much as he pleased. In 1983 after staying up all night snorting cocaine he attended a church service at his sister's request. A couple of services later, John found himself at the altar surrendering his life to Christ. He got involved with the church, and began to minister to Junior and Senior High Students. He also joined the choir where he met his bride, Lisa.

John and Lisa moved to Grand Haven and got involved in the Grand Haven Resurrection Life Church. By the fall of 1994 John was ordained and in the ministry full time at the Grand Haven Resurrection life church. The Youth Ministry grew under the leadership of John and Lisa. The Senior Pastor asked John to pray about becoming a Senior Pastor.

While interns at Resurrection Life Church in Grandville, Pastor John and Lisa were called to begin Resurrection Life Church in Ionia. On June of 1997 held their first Church service in the home of Rick and Kristin Johnson with only 15 people. They grew from there and began to hold services at the Watt Auditorium. Since 1997 the church has grown wonderfully. The church has more than tripled in size.

Pastor John speaks regularly at conferences and churches. He is known for his testimony and the ability to make biblical truths relative and applicable. Pastor John sees Resurrection Life Church as a place of healing, from which changed lives can be used by God to change the lives of others.
